Fridays are Fun

I have always loved Fridays since I was a kid. Now, enjoying the retired life I must say that the great feeling of Friday still lives on inside me. I think it's because when you go to school as a kid friday quickly becomes a day that you learn to look forward to. It's the end of the week and by default it just gives you a great sense of joy. knowing that you don't need to go to school tomorrow gets you into that pattern of thinking. Then when you grow up and get a job in the real world you REALLY look forward to fridays.

Even when I worked the third shift and I actually had to work fridays I still had the great 'friday feeling' It didn't matter that I had to work (actually it did! LOL) but I still had the subconscious joy of Fridayism. Now that I've retired, albeit at a younger age than most, thanks to some lucky real estate investments in my thirties, I still enjoy friday more than any other day even though I don't have to work at all any more. So hats off to Friday!
